Each item may have any number of previews as part of their record entry. This makes the on-line browsing experience almost as good as visiting the centre - vital for those too far away to travel.
Clients will even be able to watch your videos, on their own computer screen, and everything works even on a basic telephone modem connection.
Previews can include:
- First 5 minutes of videos
- Photographs - for models, posters and equipment
- PDF files - open and read the leaflets
- Web site links - just click to visit the associated web site
- Email links - contact the organisation with one click
The previews are relatively easy to create and should be within the capabilities of a technical or design department.
However, the system already has hundreds of previews installed, so any matching items you have can have previews added right from the start.
